Firm Action Mask for a few months now.
The reason I first looked into this mask is because it is supposed to shrink pores, and I have HUGE pores. Also, it smells amazing! I wish I could pinpoint exactly what it smells like, but I'm having a hard time putting my finger on it. It's just very sweet, but not candy sweet, it's more of a subtle sweet scent. I've been sitting here just smelling it, trying to figure out what the heck it smells like, and just can't figure it out. It smells nice. Let's just leave it at that for now.
I like to dab this mask on blemishes and let it sit for a few hours. It's the most effective clay mask I've ever used. I can tell that inflammation around the blemishes decreases after I use it.
I've also used it over my entire face for 20 minutes at a time. Afterward, my skin feels tighter than normal, but I haven't determined if that's because my skin is dried out or if it's because the mask is firming up my skin. I don't use it over my entire face often though because I don't really like that feeling.
Cost:$27, Sephora.com. It's the least expensive mask Ole Henriksen carries, and one of the least expensive masks available at Sephora. One jar should last me a while since I mostly use it over my blemishes. I'm not sure would be suitable for someone with dry skin because as I said above, I'm not sure if the tightness I feel is from the mask working or if it's just drying out my skin.
Most Ole Henriksen products are not cheap, especially for folks who are working with a budget. But I'm all about making room for skin care that works. Since it works for my skin, I'll continue to use it until it stops working. I suggest trying it out for yourself!
